Scott & White Health Plan needed a complete transformation of their digital consumer experience. The project’s primary goals were to help their members access better customer service, to help them make better decisions about their health care, to automate routine customer service features that are usually handled through the contact center, and to help sell health insurance coverage.

The primary goals for the redesign included simplifying the purchase of individual plans, or on-boarding as part of a group plan, through managing care for a family. New tools were designed and implemented to help consumers utilize their plan in the most cost advantage way to them, particularly for members with high-deductible plans. The new consumer experience reinvigorated a stalwart brand in healthcare.
