MY LIFE’S WORK

BALANCE

Being bold inspires me, and a sense of texture gives foundation to design elements which, together help tell a balanced visual story.

connection with the user
exchange of ideas
passion to create
evolve to clarity

These ideals interest me as a creator,
a collaborator and a communicator.
I seek opportunities that share
similar beliefs– in an environment that
challenges its members to create
solutions that are greater than imagined.
A high level of concept development,
continuing education in design and
technology, and the creation of
unique detail in a final product are
all integral to stimulating my growth.

living in the moment
happiness + health
curiously inspired
simplicity through process
caring + nurturing

These define me as a person–
a mama, a sister, a friend. I find
joy in balancing life beyond the desk.
My daughter, my family, my friends.
The beach, the garden, typography,
the letter Q, painting, the letters and
shapes I see in negative space. The
way a sky changes color in moments,
the pitter-patter sounds I hear as my
child runs from room to room.
The moments experienced build
my foundation, creating balance.

The main tenet of design thinking is empathy for the people you’re trying to design for.
